Wed. Fri. Sat. June 23-26

Wed. afternoon was beautifully sunny, warm and just enough breeze to keep cool. Hi Tom and Chris also engaging in roller-therapy. New bridge pics and a heron.

Fri. afternoon was also beautiful and a little breezy, but with all the summer growth it's hardly felt.

Sat. I came across Boy Scout Troop 101 out of Glenville enjoying the path on their bikes. Hi especially to David from my neighborhood.

Welcome summer

To welcome summer I treated myself to an evening skate and finished just about dusk. Although it was a bit blustery I never felt like I was fighting it. The wind was refreshing and made me more comfortable.
I returned from a wonderful father's day weekend in Brooklyn (thank-you Leigh and Chad) and after the road trip it is always good to get to the path, although my thoughts still lingered on being in the city and with my daughter. We helped her get the last day of school started before we headed home.

Hope they made it!

1:30 Pm Sunny , slight wind and warm. Little traffic on the path today at this time. Just the deer flies to annoy me. They lock in and follow you circling your head, but in the end are just a nuisance.

Saw three turtle nests littered with empty eggs. How many make it to adulthood?

Progress on the bridge.
